Obituary of Otto Habsburg (1912-2011)
Otto Habsburg-Lothringen, son of the last Austrian Emperor Karl and his wife, Empress Zita, passed away on July 4, 2011.
We sadly announce the passing of a great European: Otto Habsburg-Lothringen, born 1912 in Reichenau, Lower Austria, died 4 July 2011. Otto Habsburg-Lothringen was a Member of the European Parliament from 1979 to 1999 and a President of the International Pan-Europe Movement for more than 30 years.

Archduchess Regina von Habsburg, who died on February 3 aged 85, was the wife of Dr Otto von Habsburg – formerly Crown Prince of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and latterly a highly respected member of the European parliament; had history taken a different turn, she would have been Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary.
